Blackheaded Pythons have been part of the collection for over 7 Years, up until recently these have all been QLD Blackheaded Pythons. I aquired my first WA Blackheaded Pythons in late 2010 which consisted of two wildcaught sub-adult females and a juvenile male.
WA Blackheaded Pythons haven't regularly been produced in captivity here in Australia. This is believed to be due to the adults held being wild caught specimins and haven't yet had time to adjust to their captive environments. The young that have been produced however have been mostly stunning examples. This project will kick off in 2012, if everything goes to plan eggs should be hatching in December 2012.
